the birth of their daughter, Edison Faith. Sharing in their
excitement are big sister Avy Joy; grandparents, Janis and
Uri Segal of West Bloomfield, Anita and Alan Resnick of
Farmington Hills; and great-grandmother, Dorothy Sonne of
West Bloomfield, for whom Edison is named in Hebrew. Edison
Faith is named for her paternal grandfather the late Edwin Mentzel, maternal
great-grandmother the late Edna Bornstein and maternal great-grandmother
the late Fruma Segal.

He will be joined in celebration by his
sister Sophia and proud grandparents
Rose Rita and Sheldon Goldman, and
Iris and Fredric Radner. Alexander is
also the loving grandchild of the late
Dr. Arnold Aaron.
He attends West Hills Middle School
in Bloomfield Hills. Among his many
mitzvah projects, Alexander found
volunteering with Meals on Wheels
Pantry Packers of Israel to be the most
meaningful.

the Torah as a bat mitz-
vah at Franklin Hills
Country Club, in Farmington Hills on
Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018. Sharing in the
celebration were proud grandparents
Leslie and Robert Jacobs, Bette and
Steven Glickfield, and Stephen and
Cadine Bean.
Catherine is a student at Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. Her most mean-
ingful mitzvah project included par-
ticipating in ORT’s Camp Hermelin,
which raises money for education and
training of students worldwide.
Julia Hannah Feber will
celebrate her bat mitz-
vah on Saturday, Nov. 3,
2018, at Congregation
Beth Ahm in West
Bloomfield. Julia is the
daughter of Susan and
David Feber and the sister of Max and
Harry. She is the granddaughter of
Lorraine and Dan Feber, and Frieda
Langnas and the late Joseph Langnas.
Julia is in the seventh grade at Hillel
Day School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. For one of her mitz-
vah projects, she is collecting dance
shoes and costumes to be delivered
to the Jezreel Center for Performing
Arts in Israel, which is in the Jewish
Federation of Metropolitan Detroit’s
partnership region.

brothers Ari and Brody. She is the lov-
ing grandchild of Sari and Marc
Roland, and Barbara and the late Joel
Fried, and great-grandchild of
Seymour Grundy.
Ella is a student at Walnut Creek
Middle School in West Bloomfield. She
volunteered at Temple Israel’s Garden
of Mitzvot as part of her mitzvah proj-
ect. This project directly helps combat
hunger in our community.

also the grandson of the late Marshall
Hutten.
Lucas is a student at Novi Middle
School. For his mitzvah project, he
donated hockey equipment, money
and his coaching time to Clark Park in
