Sharing in their happiness are big brother Sol and big sister Esther. Morris is also welcomed by proud grandparents Barbara and Jim Schroer of Wyoming, Ohio, and Laura and Ron Ostreicher of West Bloomfield. Morris Paul is named in memory of beloved teachers Morris Neuvirth and Paul Bell. Bradley Babitch (Adiv Ginat) of Birmingham will be called to the Torah at Temple Beth El in Bloomfield Township on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018. He is the son of Leland Babitch and Cheryl Carpenter, brother of Dylan Babitch, grandson of Mack Carpenter and Estelle Babitch, and the late Carol Carpenter and Daniel Babitch. Bradley is in the eighth grade at Derby Middle School in Birmingham. He and his moth- er recently completed a 30-mile bike ride to raise funds for the American Diabetes Association’s Tour de Cure. Jaden Bachrach (Binyamin Tuvye), son of Elizabeth and Bradley Simon, and Peter Bachrach, will be called to the bimah as a bar mitzvah on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, at Adat Shalom Synagogue in Farmington Hills. He will be joined in celebra- tion by siblings Dana and Zachary Simon, and proud grandparents, Sheldon and Marilyn Fealk, Barry and Lois Simon, and Minna Bachrach. Jaden is also the grand- child of the late Howard Bachrach. Jaden is a student at Walnut Creek Middle School in West Bloomfield. For his mitzvah project, he served as camp pho- tographer and created the video montage for the final presenta- tion to families at Planet Lori Art Camp. Funded by the Lori Haber Buckfire Foundation and run by the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center, the week-long camp is for children who had or have a parent with cancer. Charles Thomas Bares will lead the congregation in prayer on the occa- sion of his bar mitz- vah at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield on Friday, Oct. 12, 2018. He will be joined in celebration by his proud parents, Laura and David Bares, and siblings Evan and Sarah. Charlie is the loving grand- child of Susan and Charles Bares, Cindy and John McGuire, and Deborah Folbaum and Thomas Fanslow. He is a student at Hillside Middle School in Northville. For his most meaningful mitzvah project, Charlie baked Czech pastry for the Sokol Detroit Ethnic Festival. Anthony Levi George Carson, son of Lauren and Stephen Carson, led the congregation in prayer as he cele- brated his bar mitzvah on Friday, Oct. 5, 2018, at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield. He will be joined in celebration by his proud sister Sabrina, and grandparents Sheila and Miles Hurwitz, and Maxine and Robert Carson. He is a student at Detroit Country Day School in Beverly Hills. Among his many mitzvah projects, Anthony gave his time to fight hunger in our community by volunteering at the Temple Israel Free Fresh Food Pantry.
