Senior Capitol Correspondent Tim Skubick has
been covering Michigan politics and government
longer than anybody else in state history. Skubick
began his journey in 1969. He currently anchors
the Public TV series, Off the Record. He also covers
the capitol for WJBK-TV and WWJ NewsRadio 950
in Detroit. The author of two books on Michigan
politics, he’s also been awarded five Emmys for
his broadcast journalism work. A native of Fraser,
Michigan Skubick holds B.A. and M.A. degrees
from MSU, and is a member of the Michigan
Journalism and Broadcast Halls of Fame.
