JACK KOPNICK, 85,
of West Bloomfield,
died July 9, 2018.
He is survived
by his sons and
daughters-in-law,
Dr. Mitchell and
Lisa Kopnick, Rabbi

and Dr. Nancy
Magnus Kopnick,
and Ronald Kopnick; grandchildren,
Max, Jacob, Ben, Jonathan, Danny,
Alex, Chloe and Emma Kopnick;
brother-in-law, Aaron Shifman.
Mr. Kopnick was the beloved hus-
band for 58 years of the late Fern
Kopnick; the loving brother of the late
Marian Shifman; the dear brother-
in-law of the late Janice Friedman-
Lannert.
Interment was at Machpelah

MALCOLM
KUREPA, 96, died
July 4, 2018.
He moved to
Troy in 2002 to be
closer to his family
but always consid-
ered Wyandotte his
Kurepa
home; he lived there
c. 1997
for 70 years.
Mr. Kurepa
graduated from Roosevelt High School
and attended Lawrence Institute of
Technology. A fine athlete in his day,
Malcolm held many track records,
including a long-jump record that
stood for more than 50 years. He was
an All-State football player and was
inducted into Roosevelt’s Football Hall
of Fame. His love of sports continued
with him becoming an outstanding
golfer.
For 70-plus years, he worked in the
wine and spirits industry before retir-
ing at age 94.
Malcolm was born Jan. 17, 1922,
to Katherine Kurepa. He was prede-
ceased by his sister, Donna White; sis-
ter-in-law and brother-in-law, Sophie
and George Tomich; brothers-in-law,
Frank Nelson, Peter Trkula; nieces,
Deidra Clugston and Martina Nelson.
He is survived by his loving wife
of 71 years, Millie (Nicksich); his
three daughters, Danica (Lisa Peers)
Kurepa, Cheryl (Steve Duthie) Kurepa,
Marilyn (Joel) Nosanchuk; his sister,
Mickey Trkula. Malcolm was the
proud grandfather of James Kurepa,
Hunter Kurepa-Peers, Davis Kurepa-

Peers, Milana (John Gerlock) Duthie,
Mara (Jake Beck) Duthie, Jordan
Nosanchuk and Michael Nosanchuk.
He is survived by his sister-in-law and
brother-in-law, Marie and George
Nickson; many nieces and nephews.
A private memorial will be held
to celebrate a life that will be long
remembered and cherished by his
family and friends. For those who

SARAH NEUMAN, 93, of Pompano
Beach, Fla., passed away on May 30,
2018.
She was the loving wife of the late
Seymour H. Neuman; cherished
mother of the late Marlene (Robert)
Budman, Linda (Robert) Schmier,
and the late Steven Neuman;. lov-
ing grandmother of Shelly (Brian)
Marks, Neal (Callie) Budman, Brian
(Jamie) Schmier, Brad (Alyson)
Schmier and Lauren (Tim) Carey;
proud great-grandmother of Lexie
Marks, Marianna, Sofia and Eleanna
Budman, Jake, Chloe and Cole
Schmier, Myla Schmier, Dylan Carey
and the late Joshua Marks; sister
of the late Morris (the late Sylvia)
Bobroff, the late Harold (the late
Ethel) Bobroff and Judy (the late
Emanuel) Stein; sister-in-law of the
late Phillip (Sally) Neuman and Norma
(the late Benjamin) Bisgeier. She is
also survived by numerous nieces and
nephews.

KENNETH F.
RAZNICK, 71, of
Bloomfield Hills,
died July 15, 2018.
He is survived
by his wife, Susie
Raznick; daugh-
ter and son-in-
Raznick
law, Jennifer
and Dr. Bradley
Morganstern; grand-
children, Alexander and Zachary
Morganstern; sisters and brothers-in-
law, Ceci and Leo Rosen, and Gerrie
and Buddy Sollish; brother and sister-
in-law, Melvin and Elaine Raznick;
many loving relatives and friends.
Mr. Raznick was the devoted son of
the late Maurice Raznick and the late
Jean Raznick Klaristenfeld; the dear
son-in-law of the late Jerome Singer
and the late Zenia Singer.
Interment was at Adat Shalom
Memorial Park. Contributions may
