Michigan Region BBYO and The Well
announced the creation of RISE, the
Oscar and Jeanette Cook Advisor
Fellowship (RISE Fellowship). In addition
to advising a BBYO chapter for approxi-

RISE Fellows will gain holistic commu-

2018. The program is comprised of 12 in-
person trainings on topics such as devel-
oping one’s own leadership style, conflict

ture, service, cultural and Judaic com-
ponents. The first, which will be held in
the spring or summer of the fellowship’s
first year, will be a fun-filled weekend in
the U.S.A., and the second, a weeklong
European adventure, will be held in the
spring or summer of the second year.
The RISE Fellowship is funded by the
Oscar & Jeanette Cook Fund, BBYO and
