JACK FRANK, a native Detroiter, died Oct. 24, 2017, in San Diego, a week before his 86th birthday. Born Nov. 1, 1931, Jack earned an M.B.A. from Wayne State. He worked for many years with the city of Detroit’s controller’s office and at the Jewish Welfare Federation. He also served in the U.S. Navy, achieving the rank of lieutenant After moving to San Diego in 1988, he worked with the U.S. Census Bureau before retir- ing to a life of volunteerism and family activities with his beloved wife of 59 years, Beverly (Stein), who died Feb. 7, 2014. Survivors include their chil- dren, Jeffrey (Cantor Lori) Garry, Sherrie (Kenneth Jacoby), and Benjamin Frank (Tatyana Simoyeva); and grandson, Alexander Jacoby. PRISCILLA GREENBERG, Ph.D., of Brooklyn, N.Y., died of cancer in her Huntington Woods home on Greenberg Saturday, June 16, 2018, at the age of 80. She was surrounded by the family of her heart: Nicole and Glen Roediger, Calli Brannan as well as Kyle and Lauren Roediger, who was also Priscilla’s devoted RN. Dr. Greenberg received her Ph.D. from Wayne State University. She served the com- munity for many years as a school psychologist for Detroit Public Schools and as a clinical psychologist in her Birmingham private practice. Dr. Greenberg opted for a “living wake:” rather than a funeral. More than 100 friends attended this event on May 20, 2018. There will be no further memorials.
