Cicurel said the foundation’s “Behind
the Game: A Night of Sports Talk” event
May 29 went well, with 140 in attendance
at the Birmingham Athletic Club to hear
from Detroit Lions General Manager Bob
Quinn and sports agent Kevin Poston.
“Bob Quinn and Kevin Poston were
outstanding,” Circurel said. “But the best
part is we raised money for our Dr. Steve
and Evelyn Rosen Stars of Tomorrow
Scholarship fund.”
Those scholarships to go Jewish high
school seniors who have excelled in ath-
letics and academics while also dedicat-
ing time to other extracurricular activi-
ties and community service.
