May 29, 2018, after a
brief illness.
Walter was born in
Detroit to Harold and
Marshall
Virginia Weingarden.
He graduated from
Detroit Central High
School, the University
of New Mexico and UCLA. He lived and
worked in the South Bay Area of Los
Angeles for six decades, including jobs
at North American, McDonnell-Douglas,
Hughes Aircraft and TRW.
Mr. Marshall is survived by his wife of
nearly 62 years, and the love of his life,
Florence (Katanick); and by their two
children, Catherine and Jonathan.
