All proceeds raised will go to West Bloomfield Youth Assistance. “We feel that this fundraiser is a win-win for both us and the com- munity,” said Curt Lawson, Deputy Police Chief of West Bloomfield Township and Chairman of WBYA. “Funds raised from this event will let WBYA do even more for kids throughout the greater West Bloomfield area. Secondly, we are bringing the community together for a pretty cool event we haven’t seen on this scale within West Bloomfield.” Although WBYA has tradition- ally relied on government funding, it hopes to change that model as it expands its program offerings, which include parenting pro- grams, summer camp scholarships, Mentor’s PLUS and youth recogni- tion. The 2018 West Bloomfield Food Truck Rally is sponsored in part by Motown Digital and Axis Music Academy. • 27925 Orchard Lake Rd., North of 12 Mile, Farmington Hills 248-489-2280 www.honghuafinedining.com Speakeasy, Arcade Coming To Mr. B’s “For 40 years, Gallery Restaurant has served up masterpieces” ~ Danny Raskin THE GALLERY RESTAURANT Daily Special to choose from for lunch & dinner… Dinner specials come with complimentary rice or chocolate pudding or jello OPEN 7 DAYS: .0/4"5BNQN 46/BNQN Now Serving Beer & Wine #MPPNGJFME1MB[Bt5FMFHSBQI3PBEBOE.BQMFt www.thegalleryrestaurant2.com Feature your business with our new way to advertise, on our website. The underground and hidden speakeasy, named Johnny’s, is expected to open in June. The 1,500-square-foot space, which seats up to 42 guests, features a long bar with an addition- al 12 seats, TVs and A/V capabilities for private party use. Johnny’s will serve Prohibition-era style food, including porcini mush- room and gorgonzola soufflé, rose- mary demi and lamb chop lollypops, lump crab napoleon, lobster mac and cheese, vegan cassoulet and a craft cocktail menu. Additionally, Mr. B’s Gastropub has officially opened the first-ever arcade in Royal Oak. The arcade, which includes a selection of more than 20 vintage and classic games, is open during the restaurant’s normal business hours. The arcade features quarter- operated games like Atari: Crystal Castles, Centipede/Millipede Missile Command, Demolition Man, elec- tronic dart boards, Foosball, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes, Ms. Pacman-Galaga, Nintendo: Cruis’n World, Nintendo: Killer Instinct 2, Shuffleboard, Skee Ball “Beer Ball” and SportStation NFL Blitz/NBA Showtime, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Target: Terror, Time Crisis II, Tekken and The Simpsons. In addition to the opening of the arcade, Mr. B’s Gastropub hosts Trivia Night every Tuesday with Sporcle Live, with games starting at both 8 and 9 p.m. Mr. B’s Gastropub also has classic board games avail- able weeknights for diners by request. The restaurant has also com- missioned a 96-square-foot pop art portrait on the east exterior wall of the building. Lisa Littell, Michigan- based scenic artist and muralist who has created many of the new murals inside the redesigned restau- rant, will be painting this exterior mural as well. •
