Corey is the great-grandson of Dolores Mandell of West Bloomfield and Eleanor Watson of Dearborn. Corey is named in loving memory of his paternal great-grandfather Chester Kozlowski and his maternal great-great-aunt Lita Friedman. Aidan Charlip Max Seth Charlip and Aidan Ezra Charlip will share the bimah at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield on Friday, June 1, 2018, as they lead the congregation in prayer on the occasion of their b’nai mitzvah. Joining in their celebration will be their proud parents, Jody and Ari Charlip, and sister Hannah. They are the loving grandchildren of Sonny and Norman Cohn, and Sheila and the late Eliot Charlip. Max and Aidan attend Warner Middle School in Farmington Hills. They performed many mitzvah projects but each felt one was most rewarding; for Max, it was raising funds and awareness of Crohn’s Disease through participation in the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation Walk with Team Max and Aidan. For Aidan, it was volunteering at the Friendship Circle in West Bloomfield in the sports program.
