Farmington Hills.
She is the daughter
of Mara and Alan
Starr and the youngest sister of Ariel
and Sarah Starr. Dayna is the beloved
granddaughter of Adele W. Staller of
Southfield, the late Avery Gerald
Staller, Rita Starr of Farmington Hills
and the late Joseph Samuel Starr.
Dayna is in the seventh grade at
Norup International School in Oak
Park. For her mitzvah projects, she
participated in various volunteer
activities sponsored throughout the
Jewish community.

She is a student at West Hills
Middle School in Bloomfield Hills. As
part of her most rewarding mitzvah
project, Ruby raised more than $1,500
for Everytown For Gun Safety to help
stop gun violence and keep our com-
munity safer.

ment of their son Alex to Karlee
Novice, daughter of JoAnne and
Fred Novice of Bloomfield Hills.
Alex is the grandson of Burton
Silberstein and the late Carole
Silberstein, and Elaine Multer and
the late William Simmons.
Karlee is the granddaughter of
Libby and Arthur Udaskin, and
Magda and the late Samuel Novice.
Alex graduated from the
University of Michigan with a B.A. in economics. He is an associate at Huron
Capital in Detroit and is also an M.B.A. student at the University of Michigan
Ross School of Business.
Karlee received her bachelor’s of science from Lehigh University in Bethlehem,
Pa., and her M.D. from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Illinois. She is com-
pleting her final year of residency in dermatology at Henry Ford Hospital in
Detroit.
A June wedding is planned in Toronto. •

his 90th birthday with a
special dinner in his honor.
Joining in the celebration were his
wife of 52 years, Sandy; children,
Bonnie (Phil) Silberman, Elissa
(Steve) Sulich, Dave Noble, and
Mark (Nancy) Noble; grandchildren,
Joshua Noble, Sarah Noble and Jake
(Danielle) Bass, Marissa Sulich,
Gabby Sulich and Kyle Carpenter;
great-granddaughter, Layla Raine
Bass. Friends, Milt and Elaine Klein,
