Mr. Elfond was the beloved hus-
band of the late Virginia O. Elfond; the
brother of the late Irma Fennell.
Interment was held at Clover
Hill Park Cemetery in Birmingham.

MYRA SUE FOX, 62,
of Ann Arbor, was
lost to her beloved
family and friends
on April 26, 2018.
Myra was born
in Detroit Aug. 12,
1955, grew up in Oak
Fox
Park and earned her
degrees from the
University of Michigan and Eastern
Michigan University. She was a spe-
cial-education teacher who worked
for the Washtenaw ISD and as a
consultant, supporting the education
and community integration of young
people with special needs. She was a
proud member of her union.
Myra sang in congregational and
community choirs and played the
piano, saxophone and trumpet. She
was also a remarkable writer and
poet. She loved animals and was often
seen walking her dogs, Jake and Lucy.
A member of Temple Beth Emeth,
Myra was active in Generations After,
a congregational group of Holocaust
survivors and their descendants. They
are developing a book acknowledging
this important legacy and the ethical
lessons to be shared. Myra’s parents,
the late Henry and Rachel Fox, were
both survivors and came to Detroit in
1949. They were active in the Detroit

Workman’s Circle community.
Mrs. Fox is survived by her son,
Joseph Fox of San Francisco, Calif.;
her sister, Libbie Richman of Oak
Park; her brother, David Fuks (DeAnn)
of Portland, Ore.; nephews, Marc
Richman (Lisa) of Madison Heights,
Steve Richman (Julie) of Troy, Ben Fox
(Celeste) of Austin, Texas, and Ian Fox
of Portland; cousins, Libby Newman
of Southfield, Ida Weiner, Libby Cook
(Joe), Angie Larkin and Reina Larkin,
all of Ann Arbor.
The family asks that charitable con-
tributions be made to Temple Beth
Emeth, Ann Arbor.

She is survived

Roslyn Hower.
Mrs. Lezell was the beloved wife
for 54 years of the late Hyman “Hy”
Lezell; the cherished mother of the
late Stuart Lezell; the loving sister of
the late Betty Steinlauf; the dear sister-
in-law of the late Felix Hower and the
late Sol Steinlauf; the devoted daugh-
ter of the late Tillie and the late Jack
Greenberg; the loving daughter-in-law
of the late Isaac and the late Dora
Lisman Lezell.
Interment was at Machpelah
Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to a charity of one’s choice.
Arrangements by Ira Kaufman Chapel.

ESTHER “TIZ”
POLLICK, 92, of
Ann Arbor, died
May 5, 2018.
She was born and
raised in Marshall,
Mich., the young-
est child and only
Pollick
daughter of Jewish
immigrant parents,
Max and Rebecca Stulberg. The
Stulbergs at the time were the only
Jewish family in the community.
