HELEN STRASSBERG,
90, of Oak Park, died
April 23, 2018.
A hidden child dur-
ing World War II, Mrs.
Strassberg worked at
Beaumont Hospital
for 28 years and was a
Strassberg
member of B’nai B’rith.
She is survived
by her son and
daughter-in-law, Bob
and Venise Strassberg
of Farmington Hills;
daughter, Julie Malmed
of Skokie, Ill.; grand-
children, Brandon
Strassberg, Valerie and
Aaron Burman, Daniel and Anne Malmed;
great-grandchildren, Jack, Zoie, Rhys,
Jaden; nieces, nephews, other relatives

and friends.
Mrs. Strassberg was the beloved wife
for more than 60 years to the late Charles
Strassberg; dear sister of the late Anna
and the late Therese.
Contributions may be made to Jewish
Family Service, 6555 W. Maple Road,
West Bloomfield, MI 48322; or Holocaust
Memorial Center, 26123 Orchard Lake
Road, Farmington Hills, MI 48334.
Interment was held at Hebrew Memorial

EDITH WEST, 100, of Novi, died April 24,
2018.
She is survived by her daughter
and son-in-law, Barbara and Michael
Fox; grandchildren, Francine (Marc)
Newman, Carolyn Berg ( fiancé, Frank
Lovasco); great-grandchildren, Marlee and
Mackenzie Newman, Morgan Sydney Berg
and Matthew Alexander Berg.
Mrs. West was the beloved wife of the
late Charles Morris West; the sister of the
late Anne and the late Florence.
Interment was held at the Beth
Abraham Cemetery in Ferndale.

one’s choice. Arrangements by Dorfman
