of West Bloomfield, died April 9,
2018.
She is survived by her son,
Robert Blumberg; daughters
and son-in-law, Carol and Steve
Tarnowsky, Debra Orgel; grand-
children, Sarah Tarnowsky ( fiancé,
Anthony), Scott Tarnowsky,
Mark Tarnowsky, Alissa Orgel,
Jonathan Orgel, Michelle Orgel,
Jack Blumberg, Kaitlyn Blumberg;
former daughter-in-law, Alayne
Batsakes; many other loving family
members and friends
Mrs. Blumberg was the former
wife of the late Edward Blumberg.
Interment took place at Beth
El Memorial Park Cemetery in
Livonia. Contributions may be
made to a charity of one’s choice.

CECIL
CHERNIAK, 97, of
Commerce
Township, died
April 11, 2018.
She was a gradu-
ate of Wayne State
University and
Cherniak
worked for many
years as a regis-
tered dietitian at
local hospitals.
She is survived by her daughters,
Roberta (Herschel) Wander, Adele
(Stephen) Stocker; her son, Gary
(Rose) Cherniak; her grandchil-
dren, Kevin Wander, Marla (Paul)
Kempainen, Alyssa (Michael)
McDonald, Bryce and Sierra
Cherniak; her great-grandchildren,
Arianna and Lauren Kempainen.
Mrs. Cherniak was preceded
in death by her husband, Leon;
her sister, Dorothy Maldaver; her
brother, Alan (Peggy) Maldaver.
Interment was held at Eternal
Light Memorial Gardens in
Boynton Beach, Fla. Contributions
may be made to the Jewish
Hospice and Chaplaincy Network,
Yad Ezra or the Alzheimer’s
Association. Arrangements by
Dorfman Chapel.

DR. STUART
DAVIDSON, 87, of
West Bloomfield,
died April 13, 2018.
Affectionately
known as Buster,
he was loved and
respected by all
Davidson
who knew him. He
c. 1955
was a TMJ special-
ist described by
his patients as car-
ing and thoughtful, and described
by his dental peers as a leader in

his field. Dr. Davidson taught his
craft to U of D dental students for
more than three decades.
He loved spending summer
and winter weekends in Northern
Michigan: golfing, boating and ski-
ing with family and friends.
Dr. Davidson was the loving
father of Kim (Steven) Friedman,
Kayli Davidson, Scott (Melissa)
Davidson, Jon (Ellyn) Davidson; 12
grandchildren, Brad Botham, Rob
Botham, Juliann Botham, Justin
Friedman, Brad Friedman, Ricki
Friedman, Taylor Davidson, Burke
Davidson, Hunter Davidson, Lacey
Davidson, Brett Davidson and Seth
Davidson.
He was the beloved husband of
the late Joan Davidson for more
than 62 years; the cherished son
of the late Betty and the late
Leo Davidson; son-in-law of the
late Aaron and the late Marilyn
Karabelnick; brother of the late
Lawrence Davidson.
