Elaine Fieldman of Birmingham won top
honors in competitive ballroom dancing at the
Ohio Star Ball in Columbus, Ohio. She received
awards in the World Dancesport Series for Top
Female Student, Top Bronze Student and Top
Multi-Dance Smooth Competitor. The World
Dancesport Series consists of more than 90 ball-
room dance competitions throughout the sea-
son and more than 4,000 female student com-
petitors. Elaine dances with professional Blake
Kish from the Birmingham Ballroom Company
studio in Auburn Hills, which won top studio.

Adell, 12, is one of the top equestrian
competitors in the United States. She
has won multiple championship titles in
several divisions at top competitions in
the country and competes at the highest
level in her sport. She is the daughter of
Kevin Adell. Savonna attends Cranbrook
and travels each week to Florida to
compete in prestigious competitions.
