Sharing in the simchah and also par-
ticipating in the ceremony will be her
siblings, Trevor and Hunter-Oliver.
Grace is the loving granddaughter of
Ronna Widenbaum of San Ramon,
Calif., and the late Victor Widenbaum,
and Philip Vainik of Oak Park.
Grace is in the seventh grade at
Birmingham Covington School in
Bloomfield Hills. Her most meaningful
mitzvah project was working with the
Special Olympic Team, teaching them
how to ice skate.

Mollie Wittenberg.
Arielle is a student at Anderson
Middle School in Berkley. As one of
her mitzvah projects, she volunteered
at her preschool summer camp, work-
ing with 4-year-olds. She found con-
necting with the children to be very
rewarding.

late Irving Zeidman, Loretta Conway,
Dorothy Conway and the late Thomas
Conway.
Aidan is a student at Berkshire
Middle School in Beverly Hills. As
part of his mitzvah project, he helped
to combat hunger by volunteering at
Gleaners Community Food Bank.

ment of their daughter Erika Ann
Meltzer to Brendan Ellis Isaacson,
the son of Susan and Richard
Isaacson of Highland Park, Ill.
Erika is the granddaughter of
Dolores Fishman, the late Milton
Fishman, and the late Florence
and Samuel Meltzer. She earned
a bachelor of arts degree at the
University of Kansas and works in
human resources at Groupon.
Brendan is the grandson of the late Natalie and Daniel Senoff, and the late
Francine and Herbert Isaacson. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in psy-
chology from the University of Iowa and is a business development manager
at a software company.
The couple reside in Chicago, and a June wedding is planned at Temple
Israel in West Bloomfield. •

daughter Lainie Alyse Rotenberg
to Erick Goihman, son of Dr. Ely
and Beatriz Goihman of Caracas,
Venezuela.
Lainie is a graduate of the
University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
She works at an advertising agen-
cy in Chicago. Erick got his B.A.
at the University of Pennsylvania
and an M.B.A. from the University
of Michigan Ross School of Business. He manages a strategy and analytics
team at Groupon.
The wedding will be held on June 2 at Knollwood Country Club in West
Bloomfield. Rabbi Harold Loss of Temple Israel will officiate.
The couple reside in Chicago. •

with a master of social work. She
is a career counselor at JVS.
Avi graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in mechanical
engineering. He is an engineer at the Ford Motor Company.
A May wedding is planned in Southfield. •

engagement of their son Ari to
Allison Bender, daughter of Pat
and Nancy Bender of St. Maries,
Idaho.
Ari received his degree from
Michigan State University’s
College of Agriculture and Natural
Resources. He is the general man-
ager of Montana Tile and Stone.
Allison received her degree from
University of Montana in business
administration with a minor in communication studies. She is working in
sales development for the international firm of FICO.
Ari and Allison share a love for the outdoors through backcountry skiing,
rock climbing, mountain biking and backpacking in the Northwest. They call
Bozeman, Mont., their home.
A September 2018 wedding is being planned in Bozeman. •
