Passover begins this year on the night of Friday, March 30. The resource list includes web- sites that offer guidance for how to choose a haggadah that best suits your family’s needs. It also includes links to this year’s Rabbinical Assembly Passover Guide and an article by Rabbi Steven Rubenstein about the issue of eating kitniyot (e.g. rice, beans, corn) on Passover. The Passover Resource Guide can be found on the Beth Ahm website cbahm.org as well as on Beth Ahm’s Passover Resource Table in the syna- gogue foyer on Shabbat mornings and in the upper-level hallway near the shul library and chapel during the rest of the week. The resource table also includes sample copies of suggested hag- gadot and articles from the Shalom Hartman Institute, Mechon Hadar, Pardes, JTS and other sources of life- long Jewish learning. The GPJC strives to preserve and promote the heritage and tradi- tions of the Jewish religion and culture on Metro Detroit’s east side and to provide an educational and social forum for its members. This includes a Sunday School for stu- dents, adult education classes and religious services throughout the year and on the High Holidays. For membership information, call the Grosse Pointe Jewish Council at (313) 882-6700. •
