Outgoing Chief Judge Nanci Grant of the Oakland County
Circuit Court was honored by the U.S. Marshals Service
in a ceremony at the Marshals Service Headquarters for
the Eastern District of Michigan in December. The U.S.
Marshals recognized Judge Grant’s dedication to the Fugitive
Apprehension Team, Detroit and Oakland, by making herself
available 24/7 in order to expedite the process of obtaining
search warrants for cases in which the teams were actively on
track in apprehending fugitives.

Brenda L. Moskovitz, M.D., has been elected to
serve as president of the Wayne State University
School of Medicine Alumni Association. She has
been an active member on the board of gover-
nors since 2008. Dr. Moskovitz is a graduate of the
University of Michigan and Wayne State University
School of Medicine. She completed her residency
in obstetrics and gynecology at William Beaumont
Hospital and her fellowship in reproductive endocri-
nology and infertility at Michael Reese Hospital in
Chicago. She is in private practice, practicing repro-
ductive endocrinology and infertility.
