PAMELA LESTER, 87,
of Oak Park, died Feb.
7, 2018.
Born March 11,
1930, in London,
England, Pamela
Cohen met the love of
her life, Alan Lester,
Lester
at a tea dance and
they were married a
few years later in 1956. Subsequently,
the newlyweds moved to Canada to
be with their family. After their two
sons, Larry and Michael, were born,
the Lesters moved to Michigan where
their daughter, Suzanne, was born.
Pamela and Alan were happily married
for 48 years until his death in 2004.
She is survived by her children,
Michael (Marcia) Lester, Suzanne
(Scott) Smith and Larry (Laura)
Lester; and grandchildren, Sophie
(Brian) Lefevre, Molly Lester, Alexis
Smith, Olivia Smith, Matthew Lester,
Scott Lester and Stephanie Lester.
Interment was held at Hebrew
Memorial Park Cemetery.

sister of the late Harvey Gallison.
She is survived by her husband of
52 years, Leonard J. Levy; daughter,
Katherine A. Levy of Mill Valley, Calif.;
son and daughter-in-law, Matthew L.
and Carrie E. Levy of Piedmont, Calif.;
grandchildren, Ashley, Alexis and James
Levy of Piedmont; and nieces, Lisa
Tucker, Marlo Zall, Tracey Totten and
Marci Gallison and their families.
