Mark Teicher won and was presented with the 2017
Michael Franck Award at the State Bar of Michigan annual
meeting. The award is given annually to an attorney who
has made an outstanding contribution to the improve-
ment of the profession. Teicher served his 28 years on

announced that First Amendment and media law expert
Herschel Fink is now of counsel to the firm, where he
will continue his practice representing news organiza-
tions, media and entertainment companies. Fink is legal
counsel to USA Today Network’s six Michigan newsrooms,
