Congratulations! high school programming and infor- mal adventures, Jen has crafted an innovative, dynamic, engaging pro- gram for Temple Israel’s youth. As a fellow in the CLI (Clergy Leadership Incubator), she is current- ly focusing on supporting and encour- aging “outside the box” thinking as it relates to synagogues, and alternative models of Jewish spiritual community and organizational transformation. ANDREW LANDAU Andrew Landau, 32, is a serial entrepreneur, active commu- nity member and passionate advo- cate for Detroit. Andrew is the founder of Jewel, a luxury e-com- merce startup based in Downtown Detroit. Jewel helps luxury brands connect with cost-conscious digital consumers. Prior to founding Jewel, Andrew led business development for Jet. com, worked at Google and co- founded Chalkfly, an e-commerce school supply startup. Andrew is a committed supporter of the entrepreneurial revitalization happening in Detroit. Through his actions and advocacy, he’s helped highlight the spirit and drive of our city. While others outside of Michigan, may not understand the “why” behind starting a business in Detroit, Andrew continues to show- case the opportunities for startups in Michigan. Andrew and his wife, Judy, pre- viously lived in New York and they proudly moved back to Detroit in mid-2017. Andrew is a gradu- ate of the University of Michigan. He is an executive board member of Tamarack Camps, a member of the P2G Steering committee and an active member of numerous commu- nity organizations. ALYSSA LEVIN Alyssa Levin, 31, of Berkley, is a physical thera- pist at Beaumont Hospital. She is a board-certified geriatric clinical specialist and has presented research at several national confer- ences. She has helped with Shabbat din- ner groups, tot Shabbat events and planned a summer camp event at Tamarack through The Well. She was involved in Good Shabbat Detroit events through the Jewish Federation. Additionally, she served as a BBYO adviser for several years. ANDREW LUCKOFF Andrew Luckoff, 27, represents his peers in the Jewish com- munity through involvement in Federation’s NEXTGen, ORT and JARC. He is a chair of the upcom- ing EPIC event in March, a fundraiser that contributes to the Federation annual campaign through the NEXTGen community, and recently joined the Federation Real Estate Committee. He is on the ORT Michigan Board and has been a part of the planning and execution of the annual Rub- A-Dub fundraiser for the last three years and has traveled to Israel on its behalf to network with other U.S. chapters and Israeli counterparts. He recently joined the JARC Board with hopes to increase the awareness and involvement of young people. Andrew has always been passion- ate about the impact of the Detroit Jewish community and believes in the critical role that his generation has in the future. He lives in Royal Oak and works for Lormax Stern Development Company. LINDSAY MALL Lindsay Mall, 34, of Farmington Hills, is an early childhood expert, co-founding owner of the Bubble Club and founder of the Facebook com- munity group “Jewish Moms of Metro Detroit.” Specializing in developmentally appropriate activities for children from ages birth to preschool, Lindsay teaches Mommy & Me classes weekly at her Farmington Hills studio. She also teaches Judaic music classes at Adat Shalom Synagogue, the Thrilling Thursdays playgroup at Congregation Shaarey Zedek, and Strollers and Stories at Hillel Day School. Lindsay uses movement, music, sensory components, art, sign lan- guage, and fine and gross motor skills in each of her classes, creating an environment rich in developmen- tal milestones, giggles and fun. Lindsay is also the early childhood expert for Super Saturday birthing classes at Henry Ford Hospital in West Bloomfield and a regular on WXYZ-Channel 7’s “Mommy & Me” segments.
