Bloomfield, died Jan. 17, 2018.
He is survived by his daughters and
son-in-law, Rhonda Gilbert and Howard
Wintman, and Debra Gilbert; son and
daughter-in-law, Andrew and Lisa
Gilbert; grandchildren, Justin Wintman,
Alex Gilbert and Max Gilbert.
Mr. Gilbert was the beloved husband
of the late Marlene Gilbert; the father of
the late David Gilbert.
Interment took place at Oakview
Cemetery in Royal Oak. Contributions
may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

BARBARA KAHN, 86, of West

DOROTHY
PODOLSKY, 94, of
Detroit, died Jan. 17,
2018.
She was a proud
member of the Detroit
Golf Club for more
than 40 years and
Podolsky
enjoyed membership
privileges at the Village
Club, the Detroit Boat
Club and the Women’s
City Club of Detroit.
Mrs. Podolsky had a wonderfully witty
mind, an energetic and athletic body,
and a caring and giving heart — charac-
teristics that endeared her in the hearts
of everyone. A perfect day for her was 18
holes with her family at the Detroit Golf
Club followed by hosting a dinner for
her nieces and nephews and their chil-
dren and friends. Her energy, loving soul
and wit will be missed.
She is survived by her children, Susan
Podolsky of Alexandria, Va., and Jeffrey
Podolsky of New York; and a slew of
loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces,
grandnephews and close friends.
Mrs. Podolsky was the beloved wife of
the late Seymour Podolsky.
Interment was at Machpelah
