nephews.
Mrs. Stone was the beloved wife of the
late Jack Stone; the sister-in-law of the
late Marcia (the late Howard) Parven.

83, of Bloomfield Hills,
died Nov. 27, 2017, in
Baltimore, Md.
An artist, she was
accomplished in paint-
ing and sculpture.

STUART A. VELICK, 78, of Boulder,
Colo., died Nov. 22, 2017.
He was born and raised in Detroit, He
retired from the Michigan Department
of Social Services after a 30-year career.
During retirement he also lived in
Scottsdale, Ariz., before settling in
Colorado to be closer to family.
Mr. Velick enjoyed travel, particularly
to warm climates, and architecture. For
nearly two decades, he was in treatment
for multiple myeloma.
He is survived by his brother, Leonard
(Nancie) Velick of Boulder, Colo.; nieces
and nephews, Cheryl (David) Fellows,
Doug (Lisa) Velick and Lisa (David)
Mittleman; eight great-nieces and great-
nephews.
Interment was at Clover Hill
Park Cemetery in Birmingham.
