When ready, it will be performed at the Bethel Community
Transformation Center, at the former home of Temple Beth El in
Detroit. For now, on Dec. 17, the work, titled Come My Beloved, is set
for a staged reading by its writer and director, Emma Weinstein, and
a local cast composed of Wayne State M.F.A. students and others.
The reading will be followed by a community discussion led by
Pastor Aramis Hinds of Breakers Covenant Church International
and Rabbi Ariana Silverman of the Isaac Agree Downtown
