“Once you came to under-
stand the brilliance of his per-
spective, it was impossible to
ever see the world in the same
way again. He changed our rela-
tionship to the spaces we lived
in,” Yedwab said.
He was adamant about his
designs, insisting everything
align with his vision, but, as his
clients soon learned, his vision
invariably produced the desired
results. Many of his clients went
on to become lifelong friends.
“He had a tremendous sense
of humor and a great wit. He
loved to laugh,” said longtime
friend Sherry Kaye, “and he was
a marvelous chef. He made the
best chopped liver in the world.”
He was a staunch supporter
of the community, donating
generously to many charitable
causes and holding fundrais-
ers in his home for inner city
theater groups and Democratic
politicians.
“He will live on, in his works
and in the way that he touched
all with his good humor, his
kindness, his philanthropy and
his sensibilities, which touched
us all so deeply,” David said.

wonderful.’’

We hear kind words consistently. We’re proud that
people feel comfortable enough with us to openly tell
us how much they appreciate what we did for them.
In fact, it’s this appreciation that drives us to offer the
very best in comfort, compassion and service.
