Despite the heat, The Well had a great crowd of 750 people come
to celebrate the new year and cast away their shortcomings with
community at the Belle Isle Boat House on the Detroit River. This
year, a drone helped with the tashlich ceremony by dropping “short-
comings” from the sky while the crowd clapped. Attendees enjoyed
live music, interactive art, food trucks and family activities. •
