BRESHGOLD, 94,
of Livonia, died
Sept. 23, 2017.
He is survived
by his beloved
wife, Beatrice
Breshgold; sons and
Breshgold
daughter-in-law,
Michael and Roz
Breshgold, Barry
Breshgold; grandchildren, Ari (Erica)
Breshgold, Elana (Bret) Hopman,
Joshua (Jocelyn) Breshgold, Rachel
(Ian) Mendleson and Joshua (Amy)
Mendleson; great-grandchildren,
Jacob, Avi, Annabel, Reese, Benjamin
and Frankie, sister, Jean Million;
dearest former daughter-in-law,
Wendy Winkler; many loving nieces,
nephews, other family members and
friends.
Mr. Breshgold was the brother-in-
law of the late Peter Million; brother
of the late William (the late Lillian)
Breshgold.
Interment took place at Adat
Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery
in Livonia. Contributions may be
made to the Jewish War Veterans.

EDWARD
CHALOM, 85, of
Beverly Hills, died
Sept. 19, 2017.
He was the
founder and CEO
of Chal-Clean
Corporation, a
Chalom
commercial clean-
ing supply and
service company. He was a mod-
ern renaissance man: a polyglot
speaking English, French, Spanish,
Hebrew and Arabic; facilitator of
multiple book groups; tennis afi-
cionado; and talented, enthusiastic
dancer.
Mr. Chalom is survived by Harriet
Maza, his companion of 18 years. He
was the father of Melanie Goldberg
(John Parrish), the late Dorian
Chalom (Ninette), Ronald Chalom
(Jac Shephard), Adam Chalom
(Alison) and Eve Chalom; grand-
father of Anna, Felicia, Nicholas,
Alexander, Maya and Jonah.
Memorial services were held
at the Birmingham Temple.
Contributions may be made to Plan
International USA, Peace Action, the
Birmingham Temple or a charity of
your choice.

ARTHUR
FISZBEIN, 90, of
Farmington Hills,
died Sept. 20, 2017.
He is survived by
his beloved wife,
Charlotte Fiszbein;
daughter and son-
Fiszbein
in-law, Renae and
Joshua Tukel; son
and daughter-in-
law, Michael and
Lisa Fiszbein;
grandchildren,
Dana and David
Fiszbein, Jacob, Eli
and Jillian Tukel;

MATILDA
“MATTIE”
FREDRICK, 94, of
Southfield, died
Sept. 23, 2017.
She was an active
member of Pioneer
Women and the
Fredrick
Emerald Club, a
Holocaust group
that she and her late husband,
David, were very active in while liv-
ing in Florida.
Mrs. Fredrick is survived by
her daughters and sons-in-law,
Paula and Michael Ceresnie,
Gail and Kenneth Posner, all of
West Bloomfield; grandchildren,
Eric Ceresnie, Justin and Ashley
Ceresnie, Alan and Michelle Posner,
and Jeremy and Ali Posner; great-
grandchildren, Dalia and Amelia
Ceresnie, Johannah Ceresnie and
Asher Posner; sister, Blanche Brant;
nephew and nieces, Norman Brant,
Elaine Surnow and Sheila Randel.
She was the beloved wife of the
late David C. Fredrick; the dear
sister-in-law of the late Benjamin
Brant; the treasured aunt of the late
Jeffrey Surnow, the late Raymond
Randel and the late Jacqueline
Brant.
Interment was at Machpelah
Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to the Holocaust Memorial
