Craig were married recently
at the Garden Theater in
Detroit. Rabbi Daniel Syme of
Temple Beth El in Bloomfield
Township officiated.
Sara is the daughter of Mickey
and the late Erwin Bloomberg of
Farmington Hills, and the grand-
daughter of Beth Margolin. Andy
is the son of Jaynie and Steve
Craig of Bloomfield Hills.
The bridal party included
Audrey Bloomberg as the maid of
honor, Steve Craig as best man, Alix Craig as bridesmaid and Hudson Craig
as best boy.
The couple reside in Beverly Hills and have a honeymoon planned for the
fall of 2017. •

will celebrate their 50th
wedding anniversary on
Sept. 24. To mark the occasion,
they will be honored on Saturday,
Sept. 23, when they are called to
the Torah for an aliyah at Adat
Shalom Synagogue in Farmington
Hills. Joining them in shul will
be their children, Jennifer and
Bob Mattler, and Rachel and Ben
Geller, along with their much-
loved grandchildren, Morgan, Ari
and Erin Mattler, and Joshua and
Isabelle Geller. •

engagement of their children Katy
Scharf and Yossi Lichterman.
Katy is the granddaughter
of the late Seymour and the
late Carolyn Kirsch. Yossi is
the grandson of Annie and Ben
Friedman of Huntington Woods,
and the late Ruth Lichterman.
Katy and Yossi met at Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills and both attend-
ed the Frankel Jewish Academy in West Bloomfield.
Katy graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in global envi-
ronment and health and is completing her M.D. at Sidney Kimmel Medical
College in Philadelphia, Pa.
Yossi received his B.A. in public policy at the University of Michigan and
works for the Lenfest Institute for Journalism.
A June 2018 wedding is planning in Michigan. •
