An active participant at Temple Shir Shalom, Terry Alpert helped organize Temple func- tions. He partici- pated in the Temple’s brotherhood activities and was also a member of B’nai B’rith and its bowling leagues. He loved anything to do with family. He owned and ran the fam- ily business, Admiral Auto Parts. He then worked at Federal Mogul for many years and also owned Asset Recovery Services, an auto supply business. Mr. Alpert was the beloved husband for more than 38 years of Ilene Alpert; devoted father of Sharon (Alex) Minkin of Bloomfield Hills and Carly (Rachel) Alpert of San Diego, Calif.; cherished brother of Lee (Arlene) Alpert of Northridge, Calif.; dear brother- in-law of Fran (Leonard) Kurland, and Lori (Steven) Weisberg; trea- sured uncle of Brett Alpert, Scott (Nancy) Alpert, Michelle (Troy) Geesin and Tracy (Dan) Pannuto, Jessica Weisberg, Madeline (Logan) Ostrand and Matthew Weisberg; proud great-uncle of Atticus Alpert, Adam Geesin, Maia Geesin and Liam Bohlin; owner of his devoted dog, Dakota Alpert.
