advocacy for current refugees, event
features a memorial to the Jewish
refugees aboard the S.S. Saint Louis
in 1939. A total of 254 out of 937 per-
ished in the European Holocaust when
the U.S. and other nations denied entry
to the ship. Program will offer readings
provided by the Hebrew Immigrant Aid
Society, music, short speeches, poetry
