Fla. She is also the granddaughter of
the late Lucille Stein.
Julia is entering seventh grade
at Detroit Country Day School in
Beverly Hills. Her mitzvah project
was at the Friendship Circle in West
Bloomfield, where she assisted with
cooking classes, helping young kids
bake their favorite treats.

Charlie is a student at Cranbrook
Kingswood Boys’ Middle School
in Bloomfield Hills. For his most
meaningful mitzvah project, he held
a fundraiser with his good friend RJ
Carrel at Brooklyn Pizza with pro-
ceeds directed to the Lindsey and
Brett Finsilver HIPEC Program at
the Henry Ford Cancer Institute.

Blake is a student at Warner
Middle School in Farmington Hills.
His most meaningful mitzvah
project was volunteering with the
Miracle League, helping kids with
physical and cognitive challenges
play baseball. He found this to be a
very rewarding experience, not only
for his baseball buddy, but for him-
self as well.
Hannah Sara Isser
became a bat mitz-

Bloomfield. She is
the daughter of
Joshua and Jodi

Daniel Isser. She is the granddaugh-
ter of Burton and Laura Roth,
Sandra Isser and the late Leonard

Hannah attends Oak Valley
Middle School in Commerce, where
she will be a seventh-grader this
school year. For her mitzvah project,
she has collected sample hygiene
donations from family and friends
to send to the U.S. military to thank
them for all they have done for the
United States. She plans to collect
donations until the end of the year.

Middle School in Bloomfield Hills.
Each year, Garrett volunteers at the
West Bloomfield Optimists Club’s
annual Christmas party. As one
of “Santa’s helpers” Garrett helps
check families in, distributes gifts to
underprivileged children and their
families, serves food and facilitates
the photos with Santa. He found this
experience to be the most meaning-
ful of his many mitzvah projects.

mitzvah project, he raised money
for and volunteered at Team GUTS
in Ferndale. He helped children with
special needs participate in a multi-
tude of physical fitness programs.

She is a student at James R.
Geisler Middle School in Commerce
Township. Among her many mitzvah
projects, Alison collected hats, col-
oring books and other items for can-
cer patients for Parcels for Patients,
a part of the Because We Care pro-
gram of Jewish Family Service.

was joined by her sister Lindsey and

and Adelyn Philko of Port Huron.
Alexa is also the loving granddaugh-
ter of the late Hanley Schreiber and
the late Harvey Philko. She was hon-
ored to have her nana Edith Levin
share in the celebration.
Alexa is a student at Norup
International School in Oak Park.
Among her many mitzvah projects,
she found her most meaningful
experience was spending time at
Coville Apartments, playing games
and doing puzzles with the seniors.
