Nomad Grill is derived from the idea that travelers will be
stopping in. “A nomad is someone who wanders and needs
food and shelter. We have food, and we have shelter,” Eric
explains.
Travelers here on long-term assignments can look for-
ward to extended stay condominium complex associated
with the Nomad Grill and the Premier Best Western Hotel
that will be available by approximately the end of the year,
making lengthy stays more comfortable.
In its former life, the hotel bar and restaurant were
located on the top floor of the hotel
tower. The Nomad Grill was moved to
ground level where it is accessible and
visible to everybody, and the top floor
of the hotel has now been made into
eight penthouse suites.
The menu has certain items with
the Epicurean stamp next to it indi-
cating that it is a guest favorite or an
Epicurean standard, including the
Plaza Deli Reuben on the lunch menu,
an Open Face Meatloaf Sandwich on
the lunch menu and the Root Beer
Braised Short Ribs (made famous on
the Food Network), which appears
on both lunch and dinner menus. A
popular small bites menu item is the
Lobster Corn Dog with red cabbage
slaw and Dijon hollandaise.
Happy hour starts early at the
Nomad Grill, kicking off at 3 p.m. and
ending at 6 p.m. seven days a week
and highlighting many draft beers,
red and white wines, mixed drinks
