ROTT, 83, of West
Bloomfield, died July 9,
2017.
He is survived by his
daughters and son-in-
law, Julie and Jeffrey
Bass, and Kimberly
Rott
Rott; grandchildren,
Drew Demi, Dean Riley,
Denver Skye, Sydney
Davi, Samantha Alana and Lola Madi;
many other loving family members and
friends.
Mr. Rott was the beloved husband of
the late Donna Jean Rott.
Contributions may be made to the
U.S. Olympic Team or a charity that
benefits animal welfare. Interment took
place at B’nai Israel Memorial Gardens
in Novi. Arrangements by Dorfman
Chapel.

83, of Farmington Hills,
died July 9, 2017.
She is survived by
her daughters and
son-in-law, Melinda
Schneid, and Elyssa
and Howard Halpern;

son, Jay Schneid; broth-
er and sister-in-law,
Dr. Jerry and Barbara
Sitner; grandchildren, Claudia Halpern,
Samuel Halpern and Amanda Halpern;
many loving cousins, nieces, nephews,
other family members and friends.
Contributions may be made to the
American Diabetes Association or to a
charity of one’s choice. Interment took
place at Beth Tefilo Emanuel Cemetery
in Ferndale. Arrangements by Dorfman
Chapel.

BETTY SHERIZEN, 90,
of West Bloomfield,
died July 7, 2017.
She was a devoted
volunteer at Women’s
American ORT, B’nai
B’rith, Hadassah and,
in later years, at Jewish
Sherizen
Vocational Service.
She traveled the world
with her husband of 62
years, Paul Sherizen.
They were affiliated with a number of
congregations in the community, where
they enjoyed an active Jewish life.
Mrs. Sherizen was the beloved wife of
the late Paul Sherizen; loving mother of
the late Howard/Tzvi (Chana) Sherizen,
Bruce/Dov (Esther) Sherizen, Eugene
(Julie) Sherizen, Susan (Sam) Gun; ador-
ing grandmother of Kalman Sherizen,
Leah (Natan) Berry, Moshe (Batya)
Sherizen, Naomi (Shlomo) Radner,
Aryeh (Daniella) Sherizen, Benyamin

Sherizen, Yoni (Dalia) Sherizen, Ari
(Jodie) Sherizen, Dani Sherizen, Eli
Sherizen, Liana Sherizen, Max Gun,
Josh Gun and Maddy Gun; proud
great-grandmother of many dear great-
grandchildren. She was the devoted
daughter of the late Frank and the late
Faye Skolnik; cherished sister of Fern
(the late Herb) Baker; sister-in-law of
Elaine (the late Bill) Kadashaw; caring
aunt of many nieces and nephews. She
is also survived by her loving caregiver,
Annie Ross.
