He is survived by his

daughter, Mindy
Markowitz of Berkley; grandchil-

dren, Michelle Markowitz, Tony
Markowitz, Amanda Markowitz Dahm
and Andrew Dahm, Ryan Markowitz,
Rachel Markowitz and fiance, Matt
Stierhof, Jessica Markowitz, Nicole
Markowitz, Sarah Markowitz Marion
and Cameron Marion, Alex Markowitz
and Mackenzie Markowitz; sister-in-
law and brother-in-law, Margo and
Michael Goldman; many nieces, neph-
ews; his loving companion, Clifford.
Mr. Markowitz was the beloved hus-
band of the late Sybil H. Markowitz;

the loving brother of the late Beverly
Baunoch; the dear brother-in-law of
the late Joseph Baunoch, and the late
Winnie and the late Joe Snyder; the
cherished son of the late Louis and
the late Ada Markowitz; the dear son-
in-law of the late Norman and the late
Rubye Schreiber.
Interment was at Beth Moses
Cemetery. Contributions may be made
to the Michigan Humane Society,
30300 Telegraph Road, Suite 220,
Bingham Farms, MI 48025 www.
michiganhumane.org or to a charity
of one’s choice. Arrangements by Ira
Kaufman Chapel.
