Soul Studio Gallery Exhibition

Friendship Circle presents “Compass: A Soul Studio Gallery
Exhibition & Reception” from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, June 29,
at the Dresner Foundation Soul Studio inside the Farber
Center, 5586 Drake Road, West Bloomfield.
“Compass” will showcase ways that Soul Studio artists set
their creative courses, define their own destinations and dis-
cover new possibilities along the way. Finished artwork will
be displayed beside initial drawings, doodles and ideas that
led to its creation allowing visitors to understand each par-
ticular artist’s way of navigating his or her own curiosity.
Stop by the Soul Café, also at the Farber Center, for some
noshes from 5-9 p.m. •

installation event at the Knollwood
Country Club, where new officers
and board members were installed,
and awards were presented to two
distinct women.
The following women were
installed: Sandi Matz, president;
Susie Jacob, Sharon Leider, Randie
Levin, Jennifer LoPatin, Judy
Robinson and Susan Rollinger, vice
presidents; Haven King, treasurer;

Marta Gottesman was presented
the Ann Rubin Volunteer Service

After lunch, guest speaker Jocelyn
Benson, CEO of Ross Initiative in
Sports for Equality, spoke about
“Women’s Voices, Women’s Vote:
Ensuring Equality for All.” •
