Israel’s 69th birthday celebration
continues at the home of Eugene
and Tamara Friedman on Sunday,
May 21, from 1:30-4:30 p.m.
The Friedmans are hosting a spe-
cial afternoon to introduce guests
to Israel’s Soroka Medical Center in
the Negev, which serves more than
1 million residents. It is the sole
major medical center for the south
of Israel and is one of Israel’s most
strategic institutions. There will be a
video presentation by Rachel Heisler
Sheinfeld, the executive director of

American Friends of Soroka Medical
Center, who will be joining the pro-
gram from New York.
Guests will also be treated to a
trunk show by Nir Tal of Maskit
Fashions.
Mingle with friends, learn about
Soroka, try on gorgeous Israeli fash-
ions and accessories and celebrate
the magic that is Israel.
