HARRY DALSEY,
70, of West
Bloomfield, died
May 4, 2017.
He was born
in Chicago. He
received a law
degree from the
Dalsey
Detroit College of
Law, a master’s of
public health from
the University of
Michigan, and he became an inno-
vator within the health insurance
industry.
Mr. Dalsey was known for his
love of travel, his love of family, his
energy, compassion and humor.
He was an ardent supporter of
University of Michigan and Detroit
sports teams, an avid reader and
a towering master of the New York
Times crossword puzzles. He was
all but unbeatable in Scrabble.
He is survived by his beloved
daughters and sons-in-law,
Elizabeth and Asher Weinberg, and
Stephanie and Brad Jaffe; his sis-
ter, Marian Dalsey; his grandson,
Oscar Jaffe; and the love of his life,
Linee Diem.
Interment was at Clover Hill
Park Cemetery. Contributions

EPHRAIM, 91, of
West Bloomfield,
died May 3, 2017.
A Canadian vet-
eran of World War
II, he was a medic
during the war. He
Ephraim
was also a member
of B’nai B’rith and
its bowling league.
Mr. Ephraim is
survived by his son and daughter-
in-law, Michael and Judith Ephraim
of Walled Lake; daughters and
sons-in-law, Leslie and David Ben-
Ezra of West Bloomfield, Elaine
and Stuart Goodman of Agoura
Hills, Calif., Sandy and Scott Baxter
of Novi; sister and brother-in-law,
Roselle and Edward Lindenbaum;
many nieces, nephews, other
loving relatives and friends. Mr.
Ephraim was one of nine siblings;
he had 19 grandchildren and 25
great-grandchildren.
He was the beloved husband
for 58 years of the late Shirley

Ephraim.
Contributions may be made
to Congregation Keter Torah,
5480 Walnut Lake Road, West
Bloomfield, MI 48323; or to a
charity of one’s choice. Interment
was held at Machpelah Cemetery
in Ferndale. Arrangements by
Hebrew Memorial Chapel.

ETHEL FRANKFORT, 86, of
Farmington Hills, died May 5, 2017.
She is survived by her daugh-
ter, Lynne Frankfort; sons and
daughter-in-law, Alan and Heidi
Frankfort, Kenneth Frankfort; com-
panion, Martin Vittes; grandchil-
dren, Michael (Tracey) Frankfort,
Erin Frankfort, Matthew Stockdale;
great-grandchild, Benjamin.
Mrs. Frankfort was the beloved
wife of the late Joe Frankfort.
Interment was held at the Adat
Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery
in Livonia. Contributions may
be made to Hospice of Michigan,
Detroit Goodfellow Fund or
to a charity of one’s choice.

GOODMAN, 94, of

Debbie Opperer.
