He will be joined in
celebration by his
sister Sasha and proud grandparents
Emilia and Emil Feller, and Diana
and Amiram Vinokur. Noah is also
the great-grandchild of Lev
Kuperstein.
Noah attends Derby Middle
School in Birmingham. For his mitz-
vah project, he worked to combat
hunger in our community through
volunteering in the warehouse and
distribution center at Gleaners Food
Bank. He also organized and facili-
tated a food drive where he collect-
ed canned goods and monetary gifts
that were donated to Gleaners.

Erin (Podolsky) and Jeremy Walker of Huntington Woods
are overjoyed to announce the birth of their son, Raphael
Levi. Rafi was welcomed home by his proud big brother
Isaac. Excited grandparents are Arnold and Shelly
Podolsky of Huntington Woods, Jessica Walker of Berkley,
and Stanton Walker of Southfield. Great-grandmother
Ruth Tobias of Novi is thrilled, along with great-grandpar-
ents Bernice and Al Yendick of Novi. Rafi is named in lov-
ing memory of his maternal grandmother Lynn Podolsky.

is also the great-grandchild of the
late Frank Holtzman.
She is a student at Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. As part of her
mitzvah project, Ashleigh volun-
teered weekly at the Friendship
Circle in West Bloomfield, spending
time with children who have special
needs. She found this experience to
be the most rewarding of her many
mitzvah experiences.

She is the loving
daughter of Jill and
Lee Hurwitz and sister of Ethan.
Stella is the grandchild of Andrea
and Ronald Hurwitz, the late Estelle
Hurwitz, and the late Harriet and
the late Lawrence Mager.
She is a student at Norup
International School in Oak Park.
For her mitzvah project, Stella vol-
unteered weekly for the American
Cancer Society where she assisted
in the office, compiling packets for
Relay for Life and aiding with corre-
spondence with survivors.

Shaarey Zedek in
Southfield on
Saturday, May 13,
for his bar mitzvah.
He is the son of Dr.
Kam
David and Michelle
Kam and the broth-
er of Josh and Zach.
Proud grandparents are Dr. Eli Kam,
Mrs. Flora Kam, and Dr. Michael and
Sharon Berkovic. Noah is fortunate
to have his great-grandpa Hertzel
Hakim to share in his simchah.
Noah is a student at West Hills
Middle School in Bloomfield Hills.
He has enjoyed his time volun-
teering at the Friendship Circle in
West Bloomfield and at the JARC
Chanukah party for the last few
years.
