FREYA ISAACS, 70, of Farmington
Hills, died April 23, 2017.
She is survived by her sister and
brother-in-law, Nayda and Norman
Schwartz; cousin, Caryn Schulman;
aunt, Catherine (the late Morrie)
Garrison; many loving cousins, other
family members and friends.
Interment was held at Adat Shalom
Memorial Park Cemetery in Livonia.
Contributions may be made to JARC,
the Friendship Circle or to a char-
ity of one’s choice. Arrangements by

DR. MARK
ANDREW KAMIL,
60, of Commerce
Township, died April
15, 2017.He was
born in Detroit on
April 22, 1956, to
June and Dr. Richard
Kamil
Kamil. He graduated
from Michigan State
University in 1977 and Chicago
Medical School in 1981, where he also
earned a master’s of biochemistry.
Dr. Kamil trained in orthopedic
surgery at Henry Ford Medical Center
in Detroit and then served in private
practice with his father for more than
30 years.
Mark’s infectious laugh filled the
halls of Detroit Medical Center Huron
Valley-Sinai Hospital in Commerce,
where he served as chair of the
Operating Room and the Perioperative
Unit. He received the Physician of the
Year Award from Huron Valley-Sinai
Hospital in 1997.
Dr. Kamil always went above and
beyond to care for his patients and
was an exceptionally dedicated physi-
cian and surgeon. He also served as
the team doctor of the Novi Wildcats
and Walled Lake Central Viking
Football Team for many happy years.
He was a beloved husband, father,
brother, son, surgeon and friend, and
will be greatly missed by all who knew
and loved him.
Dr. Kamil is survived by his wife,
Barbara June Kamil (nee Maitland);
children, Joseph Kamil, Rita and Jason
Nager, Rabbis Frederick and Rebecca
Kamil, Rebecca and Benjamin
Friedman, Hannah Kamil and
Miriam Kamil; sisters, Leslie, Lisa and
Florence.
Interment was at Beth El Memorial
Park. Contributions may be made to

Ms. Rapaport was the dear niece of
the late Dolores and the late Sidney
Goldman.

VALENTINA RAYTMAN, 78, of
Farmington Hills, died April 19, 2017.
She is survived by her husband,
Roman Raytman; sons and daughters-
in-law, Sergey and Lana Raytman,
and Yefim and Ella Raytman; grand-
children, Art and Irina Raytman, Ilya,
Julie, Roman, Regina and Michelle
Raytman.
Interment was at Adat Shalom
