ADAM GORDON, 51, of Hazel
Park, died March 23, 2017.
He graduated from the University
of Wisconsin and followed his pas-
sion for reading by working at the
Farmington Community Library.
His kindness and generosity will be
remembered by many.
Mr. Gordon is survived by his
father, Maynard Gordon; brother
and sister-in-law, Julian Gordon
and Gillian Levy; sister and broth-
er-in-law, Bethy and Jim Holmes;
aunt, Sharon Bond-Stewart; nieces,
Anna Leah Holmes, Isabel Gordon
Holmes; many loving cousins, other
family members and friends.
He was the son of the late Lucille
Gordon.
Interment was held at
Machpelah Cemetery in Ferndale.
Contributions may be made to
Farmington Community Library
or to a charity of one’s choice.
Arrangements by Dorfman Chapel.

DR. HOWARD
HAAS FINK, 92,
of Ann Arbor, for-
merly of Dayton,
Ohio, died April 4,
2017.
Dr. Fink was
a loving son and

brother, WWII
combat veteran,
psychotherapist,
husband, dedi-
cated father and grandfather, men-
tor and friend.
He is survived by his daugh-
ters and sons-in-law, Meredith
Kaye Churchill and Wainwright
Churchill, Nancy Ann Lawrence
and David Amundson; son and
daughter-in-law, Dr. John Kane
Fink and Cynthia Fink; grandchil-
dren, Alexander Churchill, Cosima
Churchill, Gabriel Churchill, Erica
Fink, Jared Fink, Isaac Fink, Evan
Amundson and Cora Amundson;
brother and sister-in-law, Terry and
Laura Fink.
He was married succes-
sively to Dr. Barbara Kane, Nancy
Piedescalzi and Larma Hart (now
deceased).
Dr. Fink was preceded in death
by his parents, the late Maury
Finkelstein and the late Ida Haas
Finkelstein Muffson; his brother,
the late Edward Fink.
Interment was at Arborcrest
Cemetery. Contributions may
