She was a gradu-
ate of Wayne State
University (B.A.)
Bernstein
and the University
of Michigan
(M.S.W.).
Prudie was a
unique woman. An accomplished
artist, she had dozens of juried and
one-person exhibitions and was
the recipient of numerous awards
for her creations. Her personality
was as colorful as her art. She was
quirky, independent and forward-
thinking. Her passion for people
and animals was expressed in her
support of many charities.
Ms. Bernstein was the daughter
of the late Morris and the late Leah
Bernstein. She is survived by sev-
eral cousins and her loving feline
companion, Lorelei.
Contributions may be made
to the Birmingham Bloomfield
Art Center of Michigan or the
Michigan Humane Society.
Arrangements by Dorfman Chapel.
