For her birthday, she satisfied a lifelong dream and went to Africa with her daughter and son-in-law. She cruised the coast and went on a safari to see the animals she has loved for many years from afar. Upon her return, she celebrated with family and friends at a party at Cantoro Italian Market in Plymouth. The party was given by her children, Mark Freedman, Michael and Andrea Sriro, Eric and Julie Freedman, and Ron and Leslie Malach. • S usan and Bruce Sitron of West Bloomfield are thrilled to announce the engagement of their daughter Hayley Sydney Sitron to Patrick Harold Greenleaf, son of Harold and Lila Greenleaf. Hayley and Pat met at CMU’s Business School. They both gradu- ated with B.S.B.A. degrees, double majoring in logistics and market- ing. They reside in Flagstaff, Ariz., where Hayley is in e-commerce project management for Deckers Brand/UGG boots, and Pat is the warehouse manager at the Purina Dog Food factory. Hayley is the granddaughter of the late Mildred and late Sidney Wise, and late Ruth and late Harold Sitron. An August wedding at the Lafayette Grande in Pontiac is planned. •
