will be called to
the Torah for his
bar mitzvah on
Saturday, March
11, at Temple
Israel in West
Yaker
Bloomfield. He will
be joined in celebration by his
brother Justin, along with his proud

grandparents Gail and Don Lansky,
and Elaine and Barry Yaker.
Brandon is a student at West Hills
Middle School in Bloomfield Hills.
His most meaningful mitzvah proj-
ect was raising funds to support the
Michigan Humane Society. Brandon
combined his love for animals and
his passion for being a goalie to earn
pledges for each save he made in
his hockey games throughout the
month of January.

orris Cooper of West
Bloomfield turned 94
on Feb. 13. He has one
daughter and four stepchildren,
seven grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren. Morris
worked in the film industry and
had a heating and air condition-
ing service. In addition, he is an
art collector, a book collector and
dealer, and a film buff. He shares
his interests and knowledge with
his fellow residents at Fleischman
Residence and is well loved by his
big family. •

arah Kreisman of West
Bloomfield turned 94 on
March 3. She was married
to Paul and has two daughters
and one grandchild. Sarah is a
Holocaust survivor. She was a
cook at Borman Hall for 35 years
and she stays active by volunteer-
ing, bowling, baking and taking
part in many other programs at
Fleischman Residence. •
