NEXTGen Detroit, Repair the World and Detroit City Moishe House hosted the Third Annual
Seeds, Snacks and Six Packs on Feb. 2. At the event, volunteers seed-packed for Keep
Growing Detroit, which then distributes the seeds to more than 1,500 individual gardens in
the city. Additionally, volunteers sorted donations of seed packs so they can be distributed
to the Garden Resource Program. The event was a great success. More than 60 volunteers
joined to seed pack, snack and drink some good beer. •
