She is survived

Brian and Corey Novak; stepchil-

Savannah and Hope Maisel; sis-
ter and brother-in-law, Lisa and
Rudy Rudacil; nephew and niece,
Michael and Tracy Ducker. She
is also survived by the father of
her children, Paul Novak; and
her lifelong best friend, Evelyn
Zdanowicz.
Mrs. Maisel was the beloved wife
of the late Philip Maisel; the loving
sister of the late Joanne Ducker.
Interment was at Oakview

IDA EDITH (EISENSMITH)
NATHAN, 92, of Burlington, Vt.,
formerly of Farmington Hills, died
Jan. 12, 2017.
She was a teacher in special edu-
cation and speech in Detroit Public
Schools and taught at Temple
Israel. She was president of B’nai
B’rith Women of Metropolitan
Detroit, and active in BBYO and
Temple Treasures.
Mrs. Nathan is survived by her
children, Deborah and Edward
Bean, and Muriel. In her last
years, she lived in Burlington and
missed her Detroit gang, Ethel
Bobroff, Barbara Weiss and Gloria
Oleshansky, as well as her child-
hood friend and cousin, Hy Tex
Blinder.
She was the daughter of the
late Louis and the late Fannie
Eisensmith; the sister of the late

Beatrice Sturman; wife for 65 years
of the late Alan Nathan.
Interment was at Clover Hill
Park Cemetery. Contributions

is survived by many other loving fam-
ily members and friends.
Mr. Racey was the brother of
the late Stanley Racey and the late
Sherwood Lacey.
Interment was held at Adat
Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery
in Livonia. Contributions may be
