bar mitzvah on
Saturday, Jan. 28, at
Adat Shalom
Synagogue in
Stein
Farmington Hills.
Sharing in his cele-
bration will be his
sister Madeline. He is the grandson
of Judy Stein, the late Alfred Stein,
and the late Elaine and late Charlie
Finkelstein.
Jonah is a seventh-grade student
at West Hills Middle School in
Bloomfield Hills. His most mean-
ingful mitzvah project was holding
a fundraiser, including a hockey
scrimmage, silent auction and raffle,
to raise money and awareness for
the National Hockey League Hockey
Fights Cancer charity.

celebration by his
sister Alexandra and proud grand-
parents Candy and Terry Rosen, and
Dianne and Ron Kuchar, and great-
grandmothers Fern Lutz and
Leonora Kuchar. Joel is also the
great-grandchild of the late Samuel
Lutz, the late Ted Kuchar, and the
late Mary and the late Raymond
Jagodzinski.
Joel is a student at Orchard Lake
Middle School in West Bloomfield.
Among his many mitzvah experienc-
es, he found volunteering with his
peers at Temple Israel’s Labor Day
Picnic to be the most meaningful.
