I

bumped into Evan Wolf at NEXTGen Detroit’s EPIC
event in 2007, and we went on a few dates. Then I
decided to move to New York City for career oppor-
tunities and was there for more than seven years. I
kept coming home for weddings, and we kept bump-
ing into each other. I decided to reach out to him on
my next trip home, and we had a great time, but I was
still in New York City.
I moved home in April 2015. I didn’t know what was
going to happen; it was a big risk, but Evan was just
always on my mind. The risk paid off. We got engaged
the following January and got married on Nov. 12,
2016.
It just proves that everything comes together at the
right time.
