Tucked inside the Ponyride
building on Vermont Street sits
Anthology Coffee, where you can
expect far more than your aver-
age cup of joe.
Husband-and-wife team Josh
and Anne Longsdorf started
Anthology four years ago. They
describe Anthology as a tast-
ing room — a welcoming space
where customers are encouraged
to interact and ask questions

about coffee.
Guests can also expect a
service-oriented experience. Your
coffee is served directly at your
table, along with the option of
cream and sugar.
At Anthology, customers can
sample single origin beans from
around the globe, which are
roasted and brewed as either
a pour-over or espresso drink.
You won’t find a standard menu,
allowing for an open-ended
ordering experience.
While you won’t find “venti”
sizes at Anthology, the coffee
delivers just the right amount of
caffeine. Their latte, in particular,
is simply perfect.
The next time you find your-

white. While you may have tried
it at Starbucks, trust that Astro’s
version is the real deal.
