good time to prepare entries for a writing contest.
Cohn-Haddow Center for Judaic Studies at Wayne
State University invites Metro Detroit high school
students, grades 9-12, to submit an original piece
of prose, poetry or non-fiction that deals with an
aspect of Jewish culture and Jewish life, past or
present. First place in each category wins $500; hon-
orable mention gets $100. Winning entries will be
published online and in a printed literary magazine.
