The Most
Wonderful Time
Of The Year

Vote for our four finalists
at Chanukah Wonderland.

D

aily deliveries of beautiful
Chanukah artwork make this
the best month to work at the
JN. And, thanks to a partnership with
Chanukah Wonderland this year, we got
more quality entries than ever!
Chanukah Wonderland, presented
by the Sara Tugman Bais Chabad Torah
Center in partnership with the Orchard
Mall and Kroger, runs Dec. 21-26 at
Orchard Mall and will feature fun-filled
crafts, activities, holiday foods and general
Chanukah fun.
This year, the top online vote-getter
in each category as well as the JN staff ’s
favorite from all the entries are on this
week’s cover. On top is the entry of Talya
Berger, 11, of West Bloomfield (also third

place in her age group from the JN); on the
bottom from the left: Elissa Goldberg, 6, of
Southfield (also the JN’s choice for second
place in her age group); Jacob Apap, 9,
of Huntington Woods (also the JN’s first-
place winner in the age 7-9 category); and
Zeev Maine, 8, of West Bloomfield.
Visitors to Chanukah Wonderland will
be choosing the grand prize finalists from
among these four, and the winner will
be announced during the grand finale,
Monday, Dec. 26. The winner will receive
$300 prize money and will be announced
in next week’s issue.
There were so many fantastic entries
this year that the JN wanted to acknowl-
edge more artists as well. Each of these
featured artists will receive $18.
